Welcome to Canicula's website. My name is Benita Savén and I'm the owner of this establishment. Canicula is located in a peaceful environment in Långvik village, just 30 minutes west from Helsinki. There are 24 places in total. |

The kennel was built 1999/2000. The interior may seem somewhat plain, but we have specifically chosen materials that have good abrasion. The kennel is open all year long. Our daily visiting hours are from 12-14 and 18-20 thus providing peace and quiet for our guests, neighbours as well as workers. The dogs are fed as they would be at home. We use Acana, Orijen and Hill's as well as cooked chicken-, meat-, salmon-rice and meat with potato without rice. We have also raw meat. Dogs with special kibbles may bring their own food. Information about Acana and Orijen can be found here. There is no need to bring the dog's own water and food bowls. Then again, bones, as well as other treats are possible. We also recommend that you bring their own bed (quilt, rug, etc.) and toys. Vaccinations should be up to date. In the event, your dog vaccinations are not up to date, we do appreciate you notifying us before hand. Deworming is recommended to do after your dog's visit. |
